Caffeine-Free, Native Herbal Tea
Red Centre Tea is more than your average blend. We’ve created a pure celebration of rich Indigenous flavours straight from Australia’s soil. Our Caffeine-free, aromatic blend was a favourite of Gordon Ramsay’s on Food Stars, and is sure to be one of yours. With its striking colour and bold native flavours, every cup speaks right to the beauty and history of Australia’s Heartland.
Organic Australian Tea: More than just a Brew
More than just a brew – Blak Brews and Red Centre Tea is a way to connect with the stories, traditions, and knowledge of First Nations people. The deep relationship between Indigenous practices and native flora unites into a blend that, with each Cuppa, celebrates both history and Heartland. Warm your senses and participate in a family story with Red Centre Tea.
What’s in a Cuppa of a Herbal Red Centre Tea?
At the centre of your cup is bright, tangy accessory fruit known as Rosehip. Rosehip is rich in natural Vitamin C and has long been used by Indigenous communities as a digestion help, as well as a traditional oil applied to promote skin healing. The Hibiscus flower is what gives this cuppa its vibrant ruby red tone. With a cranberry-like flavour, it provides a bunch of antioxidants to help protect your body. The native rosella species of Hibiscus has been used in Indigenous Australian traditions to ease fever symptoms. An ingredient native to the NSW highlands – Strawberry Gum leaves possess a sweet tone with notes of eucalyptus. Indigenous communities have long used Strawberry Gum as a sweet flavouring, as well as to support gut health – making it a healthy and delicious addition to the blend. Next, we have the Quandong fruit. Sometimes called the ‘Desert Peach’ – juicy Quandong is native to the more Arid regions of Australia. It has been a traditional form of Bush Tucker for thousands of years – eaten both fresh and dried. As it is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants alike – Quandong is abundant in medicinal properties and a native wonder – perfect extract for the perfect Cuppa.
